MusafirBook a car

How it works

From your dates to the keys, and back again

Six stages, and you can stop at any of the first three without owing anything. Nothing is held until you have seen the whole price and said yes to it.

  1. 01

    You send us dates

From the booking page, on WhatsApp, or on the phone. If you have a car in mind, say so; if not, tell us what you need it for and we will suggest one.

This holds nothing and costs nothing.

  2. 02

We come back with a price

The car, the daily rate, the kilometres each day includes, what a kilometre past that costs, and the deposit. One number for the whole booking, not a rate to multiply.

    Still nothing held.

  3. 03

You confirm, and the car is held

Once you say yes, that car is off the board for your dates. We usually take an advance at this point; the balance is due at handover.

This is the moment the booking becomes real.

  4. 04

    Handover

We meet, you check the car, and we photograph the odometer, the fuel gauge and any marks on the bodywork together. You sign the agreement and keep a copy of it.

Five minutes, and it settles every argument that could follow.

  5. 05

The car is yours for the booking

Drive it, or sit in the back and let our driver do it. Fuel is yours. If your plans change mid-booking, call us, extending is usually easy if nobody is waiting on the car.

  6. 06

    Return, and the final number

We read the odometer with you, photograph it again, and settle: kilometres over the allowance, anything charged separately, and the deposit back.

The car goes out full and should come back full.

Questions

The ones we are asked most

How is a day counted?
Twenty-four hours from the time you take the car, rounded up, out at 10am Monday and back at 2pm Tuesday is two days. There is an hour of grace on the return, so being a few minutes late in traffic does not cost you a whole day.
What is the security deposit for?
Damage, a challan that arrives after you have gone, or fuel the car comes back short. It is held, never spent, and returned in full when there is nothing to take out of it.
Who pays for fuel?
You do. The car is handed over with a full tank and should come back full. If it does not, we fill it and take the cost out of the deposit at the pump price.
What happens if I go over the kilometres?
You are charged the per-kilometre rate that was on your agreement from the start. Nothing is invented at the end, if you can see the allowance and the rate before you sign, you can work out the worst case yourself.
Can I take the car out of Lahore?
Usually yes, and it is worth telling us when you book so the kilometre allowance is set for the trip rather than for city driving. Some cars are city-only; we will say so.
Do you deliver the car?
In most of Lahore, yes, for a delivery charge quoted with the rest. Airport pickups are common and we would rather know the flight number than the time.
What if I need to cancel?
Tell us as early as you can and we will move the dates or refund the advance where we can still fill the car. The full position is in the terms.

Anything we have not covered is in the full terms, or get in touch.
